Vandals attack Lithuanian embassy
Unidentified people daubed emblems of Russia’s far-left National Bolshevik Party on the fence around the Minsk-based Lithuanian embassy on the night between July 24 and 25.
They also threw bottles with paint over the fence into the area around the embassy, Kristina Pakonyte, spokeswoman for the embassy.
She said that a probe was under way into the attack.
Lithuania's Delfi news portal said that Ambassador Edminas Bagdonas had sent a letter of protest to the Belarusian foreign ministry, demanding that those guilty be punished and measures be taken to prevent such attacks from recurring.
The consular department of the Minsk-based embassy suspended accepting applications in connection with the incident, according to the report. //
